Our Annual Meeting was held this past Saturday, April 11, 2026, at a new venue for our Society—the Tiffany Ballroom at the Four Points by Sheraton in Norwood, Massachusetts. The change in location was warmly received, and we were pleased to see such a strong turnout.
During the meeting, members voted in a new slate of Officers, including a Governor, Deputy Governor, and Captain. This leadership team will serve a three-year term.

In other business, we announced the call for volunteers and Delegates to represent the Massachusetts Society at the 44th General Congress this coming September. Interested members are encouraged to sign up via the Volunteer page.
A highlight of the afternoon was a insightful presentation by Reverend Michael R. Denney, Historian General of the General Society of Mayflower Descendants. His talk, “The Mayflower Story: Still Being Written,” offered fresh insights and reminded us of the ongoing relevance of our shared history.
